- Jenna was born in Tucson, AZ where both her mother and father were stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Her family moved to the Argentine area of Kansas City, Kansas and then settled in Mankato, Kansas.
Jenna began performing at a young age as a dancer in tap, jazz, ballet/pointe. She studied classical piano for many years and competed as a teenager. She attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a BA in Theatre and Film. After graduating, Jenna moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

- While at college, studied abroad in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, studying British art, literature and architecture.
