His work on extreme alpine film sets, combining creative vision with technical rope and climbing skills, naturally transitioned into a career behind the lens.
In 2015, Jakob co-founded Whiteroom Productions, earning international acclaim for its distinctive style and award-winning films. After relocating to Bavaria, he established Filmfarm with his wife, Stefanie. The production house thrives on telling stories rooted in agriculture, mountain culture, and the natural world.
