Biography

Anna Elena Pepe is a British-Italian actress, director, and screenwriter. She holds a U.S. Green Card for Extraordinary Ability in Acting, allowing her to work across international productions in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy. She trained as an actress at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and further specialized in comedy and sketch writing at The Groundlings in Los Angeles. Her screen credits as an actress include: Main Cast in Death Do Us Part (upcoming feature film with Alan Cumming), Concordia (directed by Barbara Eder), Leonardo (Directed by BAFTA winner Daniel Percival), A Thousand Years’ Journey (directed by award winner Pupi Avati), I Love you (directed by Emmy Award Winner Richard Blandhard), The Tuscan Wedding (directed by Johan Nijenhuis, box office hit in the Netherlands), Anna and the Modern Day Slavery, Ciao America and the lead role in the TV series It's not you (SkyTV). She wrote and directed the short film Miss Agata (in which she plays the title role), a comedy-drama about a woman who has PTSD after domestic abuse, that has reached more than 50 festivals worldwide collecting many awards such as the Starlight International Cinema Award at the Venice film Festival 2023. She created the Comedy TV Series "Totò e Daiana" that has won numerous awards and it's been acquired by the Amazon Prime Official Catalogue as Italian Episodes Series 3. Anna has several projects in development in the UK, Italy and the US, including 2 feature films, continuing her work as a multi-hyphenate storyteller in international cinema and television.
