Richard Walters is an award winning actor & producer from Toronto, Canada. Richard Walters began his professional acting career as a series regular on "Degrassi," appearing on six seasons of the popular teen drama. Since then, he has acted in many acclaimed films and TV shows such as "Akilla's Escape" (TIFF 2020), "American Woman" (TIFF 2019), "Frankie Drake Mysteries," "Hudson & Rex," and "Diggstown." In 2020, Richard earned the Reelworld Film Festival's Stand Out Actor for a Short Film Award for his performance in "An Uninvited Guest." Running parallel to his successful acting career, Richard has produced a slate of award-winning short films, music videos, TV pilots, and web series. His music video / short film hybrid "Speak" won the Jury Award for Best Short Film at the Miami 4 Social Change Film Festival. In 2019, Richard produced "Zeen?," a comedy mockumentary exploring how culture, race, and privilege impact the Caribbean diaspora. The film was made with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto. Following a successful international festival run, the film won multiple awards and has been distributed by CaribbeanTales Media Group. Richard also appears on the hit HBO series "IT, Welcome to Derry" as Airman Jacobs. As Morpheus Richards the recording artist he Writes and composes his own music. The name "Morpheus" came from Greek Mythology (The God of Dreams) He's a performing sensation who writes and composes his own music. Morpheus Officially began his career in 2016 and has strongly climbed up the ranks in being a true professional at his craft. At a young age Morpheus got inspired by the likes of James Brown, Michael Jackson, Usher, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar and his love for his Caribbean Culture. Morpheus is a forever shifting artist who loves to create and explore different kinds of music from HipHop/R&B to Dancehall/Afro and many more. Morpheus has been performing for 15+ years in areas such as Musical Theatre, Show choir, and Artist Showcases. Thanks to those dedicated years of performing he is known to be one of the best performers in Canada. He's on a mission to show the world what he has to offer with his music and messaging.
