  • Martine is a European cinematographer based between Melbourne and London. She comes from an arts background, has an MA in cinematography from Goldsmiths, University of London and her focus lies in visual storytelling in narrative film.

    Martine is inspired by truth, beauty and the awkward of life and carefully listens to the story that wants to be told. Curiosity about the world has helped her develop her own way of perception, understanding and implementation of stories through the medium of camera and light.

    Short films that Martine has been the cinematographer for, such as Keep Mum (dir. Luana di Pasquale) and Latent (dir. Lefteris Parasyris), have been earning awards nationally and internationally and she has been both nominated and also won awards for cinematography.

    Sunflower (dir. Gabriel Carrubba) that Martine has been cinematographer on has been in the Official Selection of the Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival and CinefestOZ Film Festival, Adelaide Film Festival as well as at the Cannes Film Market (Marché du film de Cannes) and more.
