- Nick is Executive Creative Director of Academy Award® winning Breakwater Studios. He lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in scenic Northern California, Nick was drawn to visual and language arts from an early age. Those passions led him to a BFA in Film & Television Production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. After a nightmarish production experience involving a grip truck and an eight-point buck on the New Jersey Turnpike, Nick turned his focus to post-production and the relative safety of an editing suite. A member of the Motion Picture Editor's Guild (Local 700), he has edited a host of award winning short and feature films spanning genres (from doc to family-comedy to psycho-thriller) that have each enjoyed successful festival (Tribeca, SXSW, Telluride, Sundance), theatrical, and streaming runs (Netflix). With a knack for writing and directing, and a secret love of sound design, Nick continues to build a career as an editorial Swiss Army knife, bringing versatile craftsmanship to every cut.
