Israel Amescua

Hello! My name is Israel Amescua and i am a Mexican born actor, I am the oldest son out of 3 my parents decided to have, we were born in Puebla Mexico, when i was around 6 years old my parents moved out to a not so small now city named Cuernavaca which is 40 minutes away from Mexico City.
I was always interested in sports and i wanted to be a football (soccer) player, I was part of the athletes team going to the big competitions representing my high-school and i loved that, I also had my acting lessons but i was not very interested in that, maybe i didn't see much potential in my at the time.
When I turned 18 I decided to go to Vancouver to continue getting better at my English and to finally go live somewhere else for a few months, I came back to Mexico for college but it wasn't until my second year that I decided college was not for me.
That moment was crucial for me, deciding to quit college I had to do something with my life and I didn't know what! I decided to start auditioning for publicity commercials and I did horrible but one day a scout saw me and invited me to audition for the best acting school in Mexico owned by the network TvAzteca. I did it! I got in and learned about acting, I felt in love with acting and it modified my life in so many ways that I knew that was it, I wanted to be an actor, the best actor.
I was in TvAzteca for 6 years doing many telenovelas and I was not only in them but I was playing main characters, it was the time of my life and acting was giving me the joy I needed and I didn't know I needed. After these years the television industry started to change (as we all know) and streaming platforms came to our lives to change everything forever, that was the point where exclusives for actors finished and now you had to live the real actor life which is getting a manager and audition as most as you can while you continue to study and do workshops in order to continue getting better at your craft and that is what I did.
Today I can say that I am a well trained and experienced actor who had the fortune of participating in more than 10 telenovelas, 2 Mexican movies and 2 plays. I have been acting for 11 years now and i can't wait for the next years to come. This career is about being there, trying your hardest and never stop hustling, always getting better. I consider myself a disciplined responsible man who learnt how to act and to understand different personalities in this vast world and I can not be more amazed by how human brain works.
I enjoy watching movies everyday, watching theatre, TV series, reading books (of any kind), music is part of my routine as well and the most important thing is to EVERYDAY do something or things that continue making me better at my craft. I will not rest until I make it to the big leagues, until people see that in my they can find a great actor who inspire them for whatever they need to be inspired.
Acting was the best thing that could happen to me and I am looking forward for keeping this on the run, creating unforgettable characters and having the opportunity to act next to the best there is.
