Prince Jacob, whose name is Miguel Jacob Carmo Luis Fernandes, is a legendary figure in Goan Tiatr. Crowned as the Comedy Prince of Goa by Fr. Antonio Pereira , he has made an immense contribution to Tiatr, blending comedy, sentiment, and social messages in his plays. His journey began at the young age of 13 as a child artist in Goenche Fulte Bonge, where his performance was widely praised. By 1985, he had transitioned into writing, debuting with Pinjre (Cage) and has since written over 75 productions. A dedicated artist, he built his career and provided a strong foundation for his family through Tiatr, always emphasizing discipline, financial prudence, and a passion for the craft. Beyond the stage, he also worked as a celebrity RJ on 92.7 Big FM, where his commitment to time management and professionalism set an example for many.
