Nefes Polat

Nefes Polat is a member of the European Film Academy, Asia Pacific Screen Awards Academy, and Film Independent. She is a graduate of Berlinale Talents and Talents Sarajevo. In 2017, she won the Highlighted Talent Award at the Berlin Film Festival Co-Production Market. She graduated with honors from Istanbul Bilgi University's Film and TV and she continues her MA project there. She produced the master's thesis of Eli Kasavi's Turkish-UK co-production at the London Film School in 2012. She began her career as a producer assistant at Zeyno Film during the shooting of "Winter Sleep" and continued as a Head of Production at Mars Production and she founded Nefes Films in 2018. The feature films she has produced are, respectively; Something Useful, Sibel, The Adventures of Sukran the Lame, Penny Bank, Snow and the Bear, Dengeler and Ghost Lover. Some of the films she has consulted on are; Confidante, Hakkı, One of Those Days When Hemme Dies.
