Biography

Caryssa Beard is an award-winning American-born actress, singer, and producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Caryssa's passion for the entertainment industry began at a young age with singing, dancing, and performing for her friends and family. This continued into her high school years, where she performed alongside her nationally ranked high school show choir team. At the age of 15, Caryssa signed with her first modeling agency and was soon cast as the lead in her first independent feature film at 19 years old.

Although Caryssa initially studied Theater & Drama at Indiana University South Bend, she eventually pursued Business Managment and Psychology, temporarily stepping away from the entertainment world to focus on raising her daughter. Caryssa's equally passionate and talented daughter, Allison Grace, is an 11-year-old actress and singer. This dynamic duo from Charlotte, NC is currently represented by Marilynn's Agency.

Now, Caryssa is actively involved in projects spanning film, television, and commercial advertising. In addition to her onscreen presence, Caryssa is the founder of Karis Productions, where she produces inspirational film and television content.
