Biography

James Reid was born in Beaumont, Texas on April 4th, 1996 as James Reid Lowrance. Growing up in a small southern town between Beaumont and Houston, James knew from a very young age that he wanted to be an actor. He was always entertaining someone whether it was for his family in front of the TV or in vacation bible school. James participated in the school One Act Play program through middle school and High School. In 2012, James began his career in the Film/TV industry. A movie called "Mulberry Stains" was filmed in his hometown of Winnie, Texas where he starred as an extra. After experiencing his time on set, James fell in love with being on camera and knew he wanted to continue. He stayed in contact with professionals within the industry and grew throughout the years participating on sets. With the time he spent on sets, James became interested in being behind the camera as well. In 2017, James moved off to Los Angeles to attend film school where he learned how to write, direct and produce. James has shown versatility within the industry and continues to work and gain knowledge.
