In August of 1990, Sean Gardner packed a suitcase and headed to Hollywood to pursue a career as an actor. It didn't take him long to realize that breaking into show business required more of a plan than just showing up. He was home for the holidays. Upon returning to South Jersey, Sean had every intention of pursuing show business again, but with a better plan. Soon after, he met a young lady and settled down however the show business bug still had a hold of him. Throughout his entire 20+ year career in sales and marketing, he continued to dabble in the entertainment industry. In 2007, Sean reached a pivotal point in his life after a divorce. Sean had very little reason not to explore his creative side once again.
Sean entered "Less Than Ordinary" in the Page Screenwriting Competition as a first time writer. Sean spent the next several years learning how difficult it was to get a script produced. In 2012, Sean created Short Wars; a short screenplay contest where the winning script gets made. Sean realized that promising someone that their film would get made was a huge responsibility.
A big part of Sean's motivation is his daughters. His oldest, Alexandra, works as a legal assistant. His youngest, Abigail, is pursuing a career as an actress. There's no doubt that Sean struggled as a young father and didn't always put his best foot forward.
Sean has a new partner in his life and strongly believes that he has found his soul mate.
Sean lost both of his parents as well as three siblings between 2007-2011. The hardest loss for Sean was his brother Michael who lost his battle with cancer.
