Biography

In addition to all her acting training, TJ also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and a Bachelor of Education.

TJ recently earned the title of Mrs. Calgary 2013 and spent a year representing the City of Calgary at charity functions. She also assembled a team and hosted the first annual Mrs. Calgary's Christmas Charity Gala to benefit children affected by the devastating Alberta Floods. She was recognized publicly by the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for her charity efforts and also received a Queen's Jubilee pin.

TJ is a mother of three. Her daughter, Rachel, shares her love of film and television and gained a small role on the Heartland television series. Her daughter, Sarah, is the 10 year old girl who created the Alberta Strong Doll Campaign to benefit children in peril after the devastating Alberta Floods of 2013. The Alberta Strong Doll campaign has grown to symbolize the strength of the youth of Alberta.
