Biography

Angela Giarratana is an actress, writer, comedian, television host and podcast host. She is known for her work at Smosh (2022-present), in Minx (2022), and on prestigious award-winning short films like GUTS (2024). She grew up in Southern California and attended performing arts schools where she perfected the art she displays with talent in every role she claims. She continues to take acting classes to stay fresh and sharp in the ever-growing film and theatre industries.

One of a kind, Angela captivates and moves every audience she commands. She's fit for high-stakes leading roles (as exemplified by her work in Minx [2022], among others), improv comedy (as seen through Smosh), as well as bringing wit, meaning, and wisdom to any platform, including talk shows and podcasts. Angela attended Groundlings camp in her middle school years.

Angela studied at BADA (The British American Drama Academy) in England when she traveled abroad to attend Oxford for a summer study program.

She studied at UCLA and participated annually in the music competition UCLA Spring Sing from 2013-2015. Many of these performances are available on Youtube.

Angela wrote comprehensive scholarly journals on Shakespeare's works during her time at UCLA and Oxford, and attended the prestigious Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where she completed other journals as well.
