In true Canadian fashion, a day on set with the Trailer Park Boys in Swearnet: The Movie sparked Trish Rainone’s decision to pursue her comedy dreams. Her most recent comedy is Jan’s Not Movin’. "Jan" is from Sault Ste. Marie and her boyfriend "Dave" lives in Sudbury. Jan frequents Tiktok in Sault Ste. Marie. Dave sometimes comes on from Sudbury. On socials, @jansnotmovin, has surpassed a million views. Some of the content can be found on Rogers TV, Community Shorts, in Northern Ontario. Jan loves The Soo!

Trish previously co-created and starred in the award-winning digital series My Roommate's an Escort, which earned her a Best Actress nomination at TO Web Fest and screened at festivals across North America earning various awards and nominations.

In 2025, she starred as Top Dog in Pink Is In: The Movie, which took home Best Feature Film and Best Comedy. Additionally, she starred in all episodes of the series on Tubi (USA, Mexico, Australia) and on Bell Fibe TV (Canada.) Pink Is In: The Movie released to on demand platforms like Google Play and Apple TV June 2026.

On stage, she's played Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Whitney in Legally Blonde and chaotic Tina in Tony n' Tina's Wedding.

Trish has trained in comedy at Improv Your Acting, The Groundlings and various other training centres from Sault Ste. Marie to Toronto to LA. She studied regularly with The Sketch School with instructors and mentors who have worked on SNL, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and many other comedy shows. Trish posts comedy sketches to her Instagram @trish.rainone.

Trish is the co-founder of the not for profit, Sault Film Festival.

Wrote a coming-of-age script called Not All Who Wander are Lost with actor Daley (Tyler) Blake Smith before his tragic passing. Daley can be seen in Murdoch Mysteries, The Expanse and as the lead in the Canadian Screen Award-nominated, The Runner, digital series.
