- Richie Cerda is a multifaceted actor, writer, and director from Queens, New York, whose work has been shaped by classical training and a strong Dominican heritage. He has been building a bold body of work in film and theater since 2006.
Richie studied acting in Florida under Golden Globe-winning actor Burt Reynolds, who served as his acting teacher and mentor. He also collaborated multiple times with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Nilo Cruz, performing in Cruz’s play Tsunami, an experience that deeply informed his approach to language-driven storytelling.
