- Polly was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, the youngest of five children. She attended Hutchesons' Grammar school in Glasgow and then went on to study Theatre and Philosophy at The University of Glasgow. After a career teaching in Scotland and then Bermuda, she moved to New York where she now lives and works.
