Biography

Slagana Vujosevik (1988, Skopje) is a Macedonian cinema, theatre, and TV actress with an international career. She is the voice of the most popular animated children's character in Macedonia, BIBI, in "Bibi's world", a project that encourages great values in children and has over 80 million views on the YouTube channel. Slagana recently made her feature debut in Goce Cvetanovski's "The Business of Pleasure", where she portrays Eleni, a journalist trying to expose the members of a human trafficking network. The film won "Best feature film" at the In The Palace Film Festival, and it was awarded for 'Cinematic Excellence' at the Canal De Panama International Film Festival. Furthermore, Slagana is well known to the Turkish audience through her acting performances in the TV series "Aci Ask", "Buyuk Surgun Kafkasya" and ''Canevim''. She has played in more than 20 theater performances in Macedonian, Turkish, English and French. At the Theatre Festival "Voydan Chernodrinski" she was awarded as "The best young actress" for the role of Helena in the play "Midsummer night's dream" directed by Aleksandar Popovski at the Turkish Theatre - Skopje. Slagana Vujosevik is one of the rare actresses that owns PhD diploma, from the Istanbul University and she is the author of the thesis "The cinema acting in the digital era". As an artist, she has supported campaigns for both environmental and digital awareness. For her remarkable work and making difference to others, Slagana Vujosevik was awarded as Woman Of The Year 2023.
