Claudia Elizabeth Amacher (AKA Claudia Troy) is a Meisner Method trained actor born and raised in the small town of Nederland, Colorado until the age of 15 when she moved to Los Angeles, CA. She finished high school in Santa Monica, CA and continued her studies and work in film at The American University of Paris, France. She obtained her degree in Comparative International Politics while participating in the AUP Film Club. She was the first ever student out of her University to make an animation which was a still frame titled "Insomnia". From Paris she continued to work in various cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Charlotte, Charlottesville, Atlanta, and Washington, DC. She has trained with Chris Thatcher and Frank X. She recently won Best Actor for her role in Lovebirds (2022) and previously won multiple audition based scholarships to Perry Mansfield Performing Arts Center and Motion Underground Dance co. She is best known for her work as an actress in Marked for Trade (2019), Joshua Tree (2014) and The Old Man (2019). She was a diner extra in Dear Eleanore (2016) shot in her home state of Colorado. Current works include Mr. Williams (Release date 2023) and The Smoothness of Our Teeth (Release date 2023) and Ghost Planet (Release Date 2023)

She trained in Meisner Method acting with Chris Thatcher out of Boulder, Colorado.
She was in a scene with Wendi McLendon-Covey which she booked while working for At Work Entertainment in Los Angeles.
She danced and competed with Motion Underground Dance Company out of Boulder, Colorado.
During "Dear Eleanor" (2016) she did her makeup and hair next to Josh Lucas but was not allowed to speak directly to him as she was an extra at the time.
