Robert Chambers was born on September 25, 1966 in New York City, New York, USA.

Prosecuted by Linda Fairstein, he plead guilty to manslaughter in the 26 August 1986 death of Jennifer Levin, daughter of Ellen Levin. Chambers initially claimed that Jennifer's death was the result of rough sex gone wrong. His girlfriend, Alex Kapp, broke up with him just before the incident.

He has Irish and English on his Father's side and Irish on his Mother's side.
