- Ernest worked on Radwan directed by Teresa Czepiec, awarded at Parnu Film Festival (Estonia) for Best Short Documentary. His feature debut Caged Swallow (dir. Bartosz Warwas) is the second full-length diploma produced in Lodz Film School after "Identification Marks: None" by Jerzy Skolimowski.
For years Ernest was a close collaborator of cinematographers Monika Lenczewska and Oscar-nominated Lukasz Zal. Ernest was the camera operator for Pawel Pawlikowski's Cold War, the Oscar-nominated film for the Best Foreign Film category. As a camera operator he recently completed working on feature film Gunpowder Milkshake (dir. Navot Papushado).
Ernest works on commercials for well-known international companies, such as Decathlon, Wedel, Maybelline, and more. Julia Poplawska's commercial for Decathlon, with cinematography by Ernest, received the Papaya Young Directors Grand Prix award in 2019.
