- Théodore Beaubrun was born on December 26, 1918 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He was an actor and writer, known for Languichatte in the 20th Century (1978), The New Adventures of Languichatte (1988) and Fournérailles (1985). He died on June 30, 1998 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

- He was one of the best Haitian comedians that ever lived, and the head of the National Theatre in Haiti. He was principally known by his character's name, "Languichatte Debordus". His TV sitcom "Languichatte in the 20th Century" was the only source of Haitian laughter for an entire generation.
