Aland Brifkani

Aland is a Kurdish-Canadian citizen and US resident currently based in Los Angeles, whose profound life journey shapes his deeply empathetic approach to character work. Born in Northern Kurdistan (Iraq), Aland's family fled the Gulf War, spending two years as refugees in Turkey before finding a peaceful new home in Canada. This early survival, combined with a childhood rooted in newfound freedom, sparked Aland's lifelong fascination with human behavior and storytelling.Originally an elite athlete on track to play professional soccer in Europe, a sudden injury redirected Aland toward his ultimate calling: the screen. He relocated to Los Angeles, graduating from a prestigious three-year conservatory acting program. Today, Aland works full-time in the LA market, as well as International markets, appearing in award-winning television series, independent short films, and feature-length productions.
