She is the daughter of MaryLynne Stella and Brad Stella of Whitby, Ontario Canada who form the country music duo The Stellas.

In late 2013, Lennon & Maisy were invited to open for and present Taylor Swift with the Pinnacle Award at the CMA Awards.

Lennon was not originally considered for Nashville (2012), and Maisy auditioned alone.

Their parents taught them how to play the guitar, the piano, and the ukulele.

Lennon & Maisy performed The Lumineers' "Ho Hey" on season one of Nashville (2012). Their version reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in April 2013.

Maisy grew up on a secluded farm in Claremont, Ontario with her sister, Lennon Stella, and parents, MaryLynne Stella and Brad Stella.

Maisy has always been interested in acting and has been featured in several commercials and music videos when she was younger.

She is the real-life younger sister of Lennon Stella, who co-stars with her on Nashville (2012).

Early in 2014, Lennon and Maisy recorded the song "Love" for a Coop (Switzerland) Naturaplan TV commercial. The song rose to number 1 on the Swiss iTunes chart and was the number 2 most downloaded song in Switzerland for three consecutive weeks.

Maisy's top three favorite artists are Ariana Grande, Neon Trees and Justin Bieber.

Despite the fact that Maisy is an insanely talented singer, neither she or her sister has ever received professional vocal classes or instrument training.

Lennon and Maisy's picture book, In the Waves, is a story told along to the girls' original song. It will be released in April 2015 from HarperCollins.

Maisy started singing when she was just a toddler.
