Biography

Now an accomplished Entertainment Administrator, A.J. Diamond graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Drama and Psychology. As a student, he performed many roles including Barn in "Floating Rhoda and the Glue Man" (by special permission from "Vagina Monologues" author Eve Ensler).

A.J. continued to practice the craft of acting as a Journeyman at the Warehouse Theatre in Greenville, South Carolina where he took weekly classes and performed in main stage shows including "Complt Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (abridged)."

A.J. performed over several seasons with Upstate Shakespeare Festival playing roles such as Feste in "Twelfth Night" (for which he also composed original music), The Bastard in "King John," Bassanio in "The Merchant of Venice," and many others.

A.J. also spent time in New York where he performed Off Broadway as Einstein in "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," and Adrian in "Private Eyes."

After New York, A.J. moved to Los Angeles and continued to do theatre on a regular basis playing Ricardo in "The Dog in the Manger," Sebastian in "The Tempest," Billy in "Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five," Gobbo in "The Merchant of Venice," and more.

In recent years, A.J. has transitioned into on-camera work performing in films such as "In the House of God," "The Wretched," and "Pair of Shoes," along with the web-series "Hipsterhood" and "A God Named Pablo."
