Biography

Richard Concepcion grew up in Caracas-Venezuela and moved to the United Stated at the age of 15. He joined the U.S Army and retired in 2010 after 23 years of service and many military combat operations.

Richard performed for Venezuela's local audiences for many years in theater winning him several local awards as a young actor. Richard has appeared in various TV shows as an actor, stunt-performer, and double for some shows such as Off the Map, Hawaii Five-0, Last Resort, Cougar Town, and worked on many films such as Triple Frontier, Jurassic World, Snatched, Overexposed X3, Love is deeper than skin, Submarino, Back to Paradise, Time Out, My Guide to Hawaii a Japanese Film, Camino II, Forever Lost, Spirit of Fire, Jackie Claxton, The Parable of the Prodigal Daughter, Love is Deeper than Skin, Camino, a Documentary of a Fire Fighter, and voice over for Demon Within. He has also appeared in many local commercials such as Disney Hawaii, and performed in a theatrical performance called The Passion of Christ.

Today, Richard just finished working on Triple Frontier which will be release on 2019 as stunt performance and continues working on a local untitled film as the lead actor. Richard is the owner of Latin Connection providing film production, casting, acting workshops, television shows, and marketing consulting. He also own the first Hawaii Latino Film Festival that is empowering future film-makers and story tellers. He is a director and producer associate with Olelo Community Media, and hosts two Latin television shows "Latin Connection" and 'Hispanic Hawaii". Also, he is a sports announcer and commentator and the Co-host of the Alma Latina Radio Talk Show. Richard teaches acting workshops, volunteers his time to help many organizations within his community, and volunteers his time by performing for student film makers.

Richard's ability to act by expressing ideas and portraying characters as directed and his stunt performance skills can bring benefit to any production with his safety conscious attitude, since stunt performers are there to make dangerous situations as safe as possible.
