- Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she moved to New York City to get her BFA in acting at NYU. After living in New York for many years, she relocated to San Francisco to get her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, which she received in 2004. She has worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#86073), Registered Drama Therapist, and associate of the Living Arts Counseling Center.
