Biography

Nancy Friedman has directed ten narrative short films and eight documentaries. She has worked as a casting director for independent features and shorts. She is also a two-time Hollywood Foreign Press Award recipient and a member of the Alliance of the Women Directors.

Most of Nancy's work carries her signature as a Writer/Director. Many pieces are coming of age stories fueled by a character's inner journey. The documentaries are usually about people who like to help others or the world in general.

Nancy is a natural director. She loves the collaborative process and appreciates the hard work done by each crew member. It is that group magic that creates the final work of art that is a film.
