- Rose Ayling-Ellis was born on November 17, 1994 in Shepway, Kent, England, UK. She is an actress and producer, known for Code of Silence (2025), Reunion (2025) and Doctor Who (2023).
- She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List for her voluntary services to the Deaf Community in London, England.
- She is the first deaf contestant to participate in Strictly Come Dancing (2004), she and her partner Giovanni Pernice would later on be crowned champions of the 2021 series. On 13th November 2021 they danced their couples choice to the song Symphony by Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson and halfway through the dance the lights and music was turned off for 15 seconds to give viewers a glimpse into Rose's world. The duo received an overwhelming response from judges and fans and Zara Larsson the original singer of the song they danced to praised the pair on her Instagram story saying how moved she was by their dance to her song.
