Biography

Vincent was born Peter Allen Wood in Houston, Texas, USA. He has lived in and around that area since his birth and has not left except only for brief visits. He considers Houston to be his home. He was born to Wally Wood (a grocery clerk) and Kathy Hatton (former housewife), and lived at home until he was eighteen. He was home-schooled, which he claims to be a mistake made by his parents. When he was 26, he attempted to go to college on a grant - which fraudulently turned into a loan. He has not since tried again. Beyond the very basics, he has taken credit for all of his learning. In other words: he taught himself everything he knows, and continues his own self-education. Vincent first considered acting "on a hunch". While looking for a job, he found a listing on craigslist for a short film that needed one last actor. That director, who was highly impressed, would later tell him to consider pursuing acting. Since then he has been in multiple films in and around the Houston area. Vincent never took any lessons in acting or drama. This is a remarkable fact considering he has been referred to as one of the best actors in Houston - a title which he denies due to his own lack of improvisational skills. His debut on the big screen was in a Nollywood film by Ghanaian actress and musician JJ Bunny, entitled The Other Side of Love.
