Jennifer Plotzke

Jennifer Plotzke is a former Chicago girl, graduate of Illinois State University’s acting program and now a full time Jersey girl. She grew up on the Midwest stage and then moved east to pursue a film and television career in New York. She is an award winning actress and producer, appearing on television in The Hunting Party, FBI: Most Wanted and Blue Bloods, working opposite industry greats Eric McCormack, Dylan McDermott and Donnie Wahlberg. She co-stars with Peter Friedman in the film Fizzle and also appears in Ezra, directed by Tony Goldwyn. She was awarded Best Actress for her role in Square Breathing at New Jersey Webfest and was also named Best Actress at the Milan International Film Festival for Because I Love You. She received two Best Supporting Actress awards (LA Webfest and NJ Webfest) for her recurring role in the series Nurses Station and she starred in the Paradise Lost adaptation, Lost + Found (PBS Reel 13 Series) as well as the film Haunted, part of the Return to the Theatre of Terror horror anthology.

Jennifer is the founder of Poor Monster Productions and has served as a producer on a host of films & series including Don't Pick Up starring Keith David & Kathryn Erbe and Love Music Shelter with Esther McGregor. She directed a collaborative mentoring program with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and has worked as a Producer, Consultant, Panelist and was invited as a Guest Lecturer at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her films have been selected in film festivals worldwide, from independent & genre festivals to Academy Award qualifying festivals and she was the recipient of the 2025 NY Filmmaker Signature Award from the Chain Film Festival in New York City and the 2024 Best Producer award at the AMT International Film Festival.
