Emilie Blichfeldt is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter known for creating bold, feminist-driven narratives that critique societal beauty standards. She earned her formal training at the Norwegian Film School, graduating in 2018. Her early work includes the critically acclaimed short films How Do You Like My Hair? and Sara's Intimate Confessions, the latter of which screened at the Locarno Film Festival.
She made her feature film debut with the body-horror satire The Ugly Stepsister. The film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and later earned widespread international acclaim.
