Dudley Doolittle was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, England, UK.

Comedian and TV warm-up man; he succeeded Greg Scott in this role on Countdown (1982) in circa 2003. Born circa 1946, he started as a singer under his real name in the late 1960s, then turned to stand-up in 1978.
