Dogan Can Gundogdu is a Los Angeles-based award-winning storyteller, creative director, editor, and designer, whose work has been featured on campaigns for filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuarón, and Yorgos Lanthimos. He worked on projects for numerous companies, including Netflix, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Amazon Studios, HBO Max, Sony, Paramount Pictures, and A24.

Born and raised in Istanbul, he started shooting and editing short films at the age of 8. From a young age, Gundogdu naturally gravitated to design and would spend countless hours creating motion graphics, illustrations, and edits inspired by comics and classic films. His passion for art, combined with his love of feature films, naturally led him to pursue a career in the film and marketing industry. He graduated from Bahcesehir University with a bachelor of arts in Visual Communication Design. At the age of 20, his astonishing work and unique style influenced the Hollywood marketing campaigns while he was just going to college.

His first publicly acclaimed personal project was in 2012. Gundogdu wrote and directed a fan-made title for Warner Bros' feature film The Dark Knight Rises and an infographic design for Interstellar in 2014, which instantly gained monumental attention, including international publications, articles, and interviews. His work has been featured in various publications, such as Watch the Titles, Art of the Title, Gizmodo, Buzzfeed, Indiewire, IGN, Huffington Post, Allociné, Collider, 9GAG, IO9, Slash Film, First Showing, Screen Rant, MovieWeb, and reputed Turkish press such as Cumhuriyet, Hurriyet, Milliyet, Radikal, CNN Turk and Haber Turk. After his viral project, Gundogdu was contacted by the Academy Award producers known for The Hurt Locker and Dallas Buyers Club. He was requested to write and direct the official main title for the feature film Seal Team Six, produced by National Geographic Channel and Voltage Pictures. Seal Team Six premiered on November 4, 2012, in the U.S.A. and was National Geographic Channel's first feature-length film.

In 2012, he was requested to design the official cover artwork animation and graphic design for the English band The XX's album Coexist, which won the Impala prize for the best independent album in Europe. Also, in 2013, he designed the artwork animations for the American rock band Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City, which won the group a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 2014.

In 2014, Gundogdu launched his own creative design corporation named Frametale Visual Arts & Production, Inc. and serves as President and Creative Director of the firm in Istanbul. The company was one of the first full-service Turkish film marketing companies in Turkey. Frametale has been involved in the post-production, animation, visual effects, and print of numerous commercials, documentary TV series, and feature films, including the 2015 TIFF - Toronto Film Festival Midnight Madness opener Baskin, a multiple award-winning film. Gundogdu was the creative director of the war and drama feature Canakkale Yolun Sonu, which won the International Adana Film Festival in 2013. Gundogdu worked with the best filmmakers in the Turkish film industry, including Cannes Award-winning director Nuri Bilge Ceylan. In 2014, his first animated short film, which he titled "Saltanat" was based on the Orientalist paintings drawn in the 18th and 19th centuries and focused on women's social life in the Ottoman Empire. This film received tremendous accolades and resulted in more honored mentions by reputed Turkish newspapers such as Radikal, Hurriyet, and Haber Turk.

Gundogdu has traveled to speak at various conferences to share his journey and industry lessons with other creatives in a talk titled "Career In The Design Industry" at Izmir University in 2014, Bahcesehir University in 2019, and many other universities. He had a huge impact and influenced college students, and he mentored a lot of Film and Design students voluntarily.

As an Editor and Motion Graphic Designer at Los Angeles-based creative company Grandson, he created motion graphics and designed content for Golden Trailer and Clio award-winning campaigns such as Netflix's Academy Award winner Roma, A24's Moonlight, and many other feature films. He worked on the Title Sequences for Ava Duvernay's When They See Us, Cherish The Day, and Queen Sugar. He designed outdoor and digital campaigns for Paramount Pictures' Ghost In The Shell and Sony's Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Most recently, Gundogdu started working as an Associate Creative Director at Trailer Park Group, the industry leader in entertainment marketing and content production in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He worked on large-scale Hollywood marketing campaigns. Gundogdu edited and designed digital content for Christopher Nolan's Tenet, Wonder Woman 1984, Netflix's Sweet Tooth, and many more.
