- Born in the Philippines, Anna Fermin immigrated with her family at a young age to the great state of Wisconsin. Schooled in piano, voice, and visual art, Anna moved to Chicago after high school to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she earned her BFA in visual communication. She went on to become a professional singer, songwriter and front woman of her critically-acclaimed alt-country/Americana band, Trigger Gospel, touring throughout the US and Europe. Anna is a multi-talented performer with over 25 years in the entertainment industry. Her credits include recording artist, singer, songwriter, graphic artist, producer, filmmaker, director, editor and actor. She has starred in a number of theatre productions as an actor and musician, and her music has been featured in film and television. Fermin is the founder and head of development at Finest Third Productions, a production company whose mission is to nurture the ideas and help develop and produce the creative projects of women "of a certain age." She is also the proud mom of two sons.
