Kristin Cotts is an actor, writer, singer-songwriter, and composer. She plays the guitar, piano, and cello.
As a singer-songwriter, she has played solo and with her band at a wide variety of venues including the House of Blues and FitzGerald's in Berwyn. She has shared the stage with Maria Muldaur and Karla Bonoff, among others.
She has released four full-length albums: Spatial Relations, Gravity the Moon, Ghost Flower, and Uprooted, which was performed as a concert reading in Chicago. Kristin recently completed a second full-length musical called Colomba, based on the nineteenth century novel by Prosper Mérimée. Her short play Unconventional was part of the 2022 Jersey City Theatre Center New Plays Festival.
Kristin has also written and produced film scores for several award winning films, including Robox (Bubba Murray), Breakfast at Ina's, and Jo (April A. Wilson).
She acts for stage and screen. In 2025, she played blues-singing version of Clara Ford, wife of the notorious, union-busting auto maker Henry. She has two projects in post-production.
