Biography

James Kenneth Davenport is student of Drama at Northumbria University. His passion lies in creating work that highlights, fights and influences social issues and injustices. Inspired by free thinking practitioners such as Bertolt Brecht and visionaries such as George Orwell His aim is to use art as a platform from which to exploit the indifferences in society and the world. As a result of this maybe even making a change. He believes that art has an instrumental role in our lives, and that it should not be restricted or censored from what it can achieve. He is loves the idea of pushing the boundaries of social theatre, as there is so much potential in what can be achieved.
