Biography

Emily Ann Roth is a Professional Photographer and Casting Director. She is a native to Salt Lake City, Utah but has lived in Tampa, Florida as well. She received a Bachelor in Fine Art Photography from the University of Utah in 1995. After completing her degree she started freelancing with commercial photographers. She has been involved in the film industry since 2011, as an Onset Photographer and Casting Director. She has worked on films all across America. Emily started casting when asked to film auditions for a series. She does as much casting as she does photography. When reading a script, Emily visualizes the actors in it and helps Directors and Producers bring their projects to life. She has been one of the Press Photographers at the Sundance Film Festival for the pass 15 years. She was the Board Member of Media for Utah Women In Film. She loves to photograph Fashion Shows as well. She has been on the faculty at Broadview Entertainment Art University in Salt Lake City, as an Instructor teaching photography. One of the other great opportunities Emily has been fortunate to do is judge talent for IMTA and Maxx Talent Awards, getting talent seen and notice for projects. Emily looks forward to the next project and can travel anywhere.
