Lucy May Rothwell is a Northern, working-class screen actor, born in Stockport and based in West Yorkshire.
A Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama graduate, she made an acclaimed lead stage debut in The Stick House (four stars, The Guardian), then built a decade of theatre, including National Theatre Wales, the Richard Burton Company, Not Too Tame and Soho Theatre, before focusing on screen.
She most recently appeared as the Tasking Deputy across five episodes of Prisoner for Sky, directed by Otto Bathurst, and led as Lady Annabelle in the short The Guilted Age, selected at festivals in the UK and US, including the Dallas International Film Festival.
