For more than 20 years, Mr. Smith has developed businesses and initiatives in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. These include business development and finance, private and public equities, real estate, entertainment, and philanthropy. He looks to attack both his business and personal life with vigor, and strives to work with clients who have a shared commitment to discipline, integrity, and excellence.

Mr. Smith has partnered with some of the most successful entertainers and brands in the world including Will and Jada Smith, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Overbrook Entertainment, Jamie Foxx/No Brainer Films, Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment, The Harvard Foundation, Capella Hotels, Starwood Hotels, The Orchard, The Special Olympics, FUNimation Entertainment, Sears/ Kmart, and Becker Automotive Designs to name a few. Inhabiting a unique market niche at the intersection of business development and entertainment, Mr. Smith facilitates the alignment of major corporate brands with major entertainment brands to bring about unique and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Mr. Smith has also played a significant role within several non-profit organizations including The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation (Founding Member), Living Waters Church of the San Fernando Valley (Co-Founder), The Sierra Canyon High School Foundation (Founding Member), New Village Leadership Academy (Founding Member), and The Youth Foundation for Fine Arts and Sciences (Founder). Additionally, Mr. Smith currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer for Bishop Clarence E. McClendon Ministries. He is also a full member at El Caballero Country Club.

Mr. Smith graduated from Hampton University in Virginia with a BS in Accounting. He enjoys reading, running, and playing golf. He also loves spending time with his children Sydney and Langston.
