Rob Ayling is a writer and director from Cwmbran, Wales. Ayling is best known for his award-winning short films, which have been screened at various film festivals including BAFTA and Academy Award qualifiers. With a background in Art and Film Philosophy, Ayling went on to achieve a Masters in Directing from the MET Film School based at Ealing Studios and made his short film debut with the thriller, Listen to Me (2015). Notable works include; Punching Bag (2025), Living in Crime Alley (2019), Dreaming Whilst Black (web series) now BBC/A24 series and his micro-short doc Hands (2020)
