Ben Dextraze

Ben Dextraze is a Canadian actor, writer, and filmmaker. After studying writing and performance, Ben pursued work as a journalist and documentary filmmaker before founding his own independent production company named Iconochasm. Ben developed as a multi-talented, award winning writer, and filmmaker by also working as an onset Grip, and subsequent Key Grip. His professional, onset work led him to develop a more distinct voice as he simultaneously produced short, independent projects at Iconochasm - having gleaned whatever he could from set. Ben also continued to train as an actor and facilitated a small workshop for actors and writers, frequently hosting live-edit 'chopshops' known as 'The Boiler Room'.
