Biography

Tayyab is an Australian Producer/Writer/Director and founder of PWA with over 15 years experience in the film and entertainment industry as a producer, writer and director. Tayyab has been involved as a producer and financial consultant on projects such as Hotel Mumbai (2018) and The man who knew infinity (2016).

Tayyab set up his production house Picture Works Australia in 2017, having produced "Sahela" voted top 10 films to watch in Variety from various international film festivals such as Mami, London and SXSW Sydney. Tayyab recent film as a co-producer is "A place to be" (2025) staring Taika Waititi ,Ellen Burstyn, Pamela Anderson, directed by Kornel Mundruczo.

Tayyab has also been actively involved with international studios in developing, financing and setting up co-productions for series and films with growing media markets such as India and middle east.

Tayyab previously was also CEO of Cinemorphic, the company behind films "Congress" an Ari Folman film staring Harvey Keital and Robin Wright premiering at Cannes film festival and Oscar winning director Denis Tanovic film "Tigers" premiering at Berlin film festival.
