Ed Alva is a Filipino American filmmaker specializing in documentary post-production. He has spent over 15 years helping shape deeply personal, high-stakes narratives, collaborating closely with filmmakers Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick on Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated projects such as Allen v. Farrow (2021), On the Record (2020), The Hunting Ground (2015), and The Invisible War (2012). Ed is dedicated to guiding complex, sensitive films through the critical final stages of post-production.
Recently, Ed co-founded Ace Story Lab, where he serves as Head of Production and Executive Producer, developing both client-driven and original projects.
