Vadim Scott

  • Actor
IMDbProStarmeterSee rank
Vadim considers himself more of a musician than an actor. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Vadim moved to Montreal Canada when he was 8 years old. It is here that his parents quickly discovered that he had a natural ability to impersonate various cartoon characters, and sing.

As a teen he attended the prestigious Tilton School in New Hampshire, where he founded his first Rock 'n' Roll band called The Ritual. The group went on to win 4 regional Battle of The Bands competitions, and gained a lot of local media coverage by playing concerts to help raise money for charities such as The Red Cross. It is here that Vadim also began to get more serious about his acting craft. For his lead roles in West Side Story, and Tom Stoppard's "The Inspector Hound", Tilton school honored him with "The Best Actor Award" upon graduation day.

While in University, Vadim participated in several theater productions, and was an intern for Fox TV (in Providence RI). After graduating from Roger Williams University (magna cum laude) with a degree in Communications, and a minor in Theater, Vadim moved to Boston where he enrolled himself into Berklee School of Music to further develop his musical skills. The following year, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in entertainment. During his time in NY, Vadim continued to further develop his songwriting/performance skills, participated in several NYU independent films, and was a highly sought-after singer for jingles.

He moved back to Montreal, Canada where he worked as a Floor manager for The Montreal Canadians (NHL) for 2 seasons. After that, he made a drastic life changing decision to move to Asia.

During his 10 years of living in Seoul Korea, Vadim become a staple in the local ex-pat community music scene, regularly performing with his band(s), and releasing several albums. Meanwhile, to most Koreans Vadim was seen as one of the country's most recognizable foreign faces for his work in television, commercials, and film, often playing explosive edgy characters, or simply performing on variety shows as the front man for his band. He speaks English, French, and Russian fluently, and can speak a fair bit of Korean. His voice can also be heard in several audio books, video games, commercials, and films.

Vadim is planning to move to Los Angeles in 2013 to further pursue both acting and music.
