  • Alin Wishka is an international actor based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He is known for his co-starring role in the feature film DIE MIDDAG (2023), also known as THAT AFTERNOON, now streaming on AMAZON PRIME. He portrayed a key supporting role in the crime mini series EEN VAN ONS (2024), also known as THE HUNT, that was nominated for a Golden Calf (the Dutch Oscars) and is now streaming on NETFLIX. His most recent key supporting roles are in the Kevin Costner TV Special THE FIRST CHRISTMAS (2025) and in the feature film IEDEREEN IS VAN DE WERELD (2025), also known as LIVE FOR ME, now streaming on AMAZON PRIME and PATHE HOME. He recently wrapped two of his biggest international projects to date. One is a key supporting role for an Emmy award winning APPLE TV series. The other is an Episode lead role, in an acclaimed crime TV series in Germany, which marked his first German speaking lead role. Information about both projects are yet to be publicly announced.

    Furthermore Alin Wishka is known for his lead antagonist role as Santos, a sociopath cyber hacker in the 7th season of the hit crime TV series MOORDVROUW (2018), which became a fans favorite character. He also played a supporting role as an interpreter for the Dutch military forces, in the international war movie KAMP HOLLAND (2016). Other special mentions include his lead roles in the Cannes Court Métrage award winning short film POP! (2015) and the short film VLUCHTELING, also known as REFUGEE (2012).     Alin Wishka emigrated with his family at the age of 9 from Iran to The Netherlands. He graduated for his Bachelor's in Commercial Economics at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2005 and for his Masters in Film & Media (Communication Science) at University of Amsterdam in 2009. Since his childhood he was fond of the performing arts and at the age of twelve he caught the acting bug when he performed a dual-part as a nosy journalist and an acrobat in an elementary school play.

    Next to his university studies, he joined acting intensives at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles and received acting training at different theatre institutions in Amsterdam, in disciplines such as Stanislavski, Method Acting, Theatre Acting, Improvisation and Film Acting.

    By now he has more than a decade of experience in film, television, commercials and theatre. Besides acting he also enjoys working behind the camera, telling stories in fiction.
