Biography

Drew Moore recurred as CIA Director Byron Gedney in the second season of Netflix’s The Night Agent (2023). His recent television work also includes American Horror Stories (2021), Chicago P.D. (2014), Law & Order (1990), and Elsbeth (2024). For his performance in the feature I Think I'm Sick (2023), Moore received a Garden State Film Festival nomination for Best Supporting Actor and shared the festival’s Best Ensemble award.

Born and raised in Nashville, Moore grew up in a family with three generations of ministers in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). As a teenager, he briefly considered following them into the ministry before finding his own vocation in the theater. He studied theater at Northwestern University and the British American Drama Academy and starred as Orlando in As You Like It, the inaugural production of the Nashville Shakespeare Festival.

Moore also holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and has taught at Brooklyn College and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
