Kenny is a director whose passion for filmmaking began at an early age. As a child, he experimented with his father’s Video8 camera, creating his first short films during high school. After studying media in the Netherlands and at the University of Lincoln (UK), he spent several months in Los Angeles after winning a spec commercial competition for Chevrolet.
Since returning to the Netherlands, Kenny has worked as a freelance director for online commercial content and branded films. Alongside this, he writes and directs his own films. His short film Hare Hunt received several international awards, including Best Director at the London Shorts Festival. His previous work includes Night Shift (2016), selected for the 2017 Netherlands Film Festival, and Hardt, which won the audience award at the 2018 48 Hour Film Project.
Kenny is currently finishing post-production on his feature debut Night of Sparks (Vuurwerk in Dutch).
