Arthur Gay is a director and writer from Tamaki Makaurau, New Zealand. He is a graduate of the Columbia University MFA film program, recipient of the Milos Forman Directing Fellowship, the Katharina Otto-Bernstein Mentorship and Development Prize and a Sundance Fellow. His most recent short film 'When the Geese Flew' premiered at Directors Fortnight, Cannes 2025 before playing numerous other festivals including Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and San Sebastian International Film Festival.
