Diane Sargent is an American actress, writer, and producer known for her work in For All Mankind (Apple TV+), Murdaugh: Death in the Family (Hulu/Disney+), and a range of Hallmark and Lifetime films.
Born in South Africa, Diane's early life was anything but ordinary-she grew up exploring the African bushveld before setting sail at age ten on a 43-foot boat her family built by hand. After a two-year journey across the Atlantic, through the Caribbean, and the Panama Canal, her family settled in California, where they founded an ostrich ranch near the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Diane spent her teen years performing for visitors as an ostrich jockey.
Beyond the screen, Diane holds a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and brings a grounded, adventurous spirit to everything she does. When she's not working, she can be found long-distance paddleboarding, scuba diving, traveling the world, or getting lost in a great book. She is also the author of the children's book Mommy Says You Are What You Eat.
